Halloween - Caramel Apple Event
Come downtown with the kids to get them candy and caramel apples on Halloween at the gazebo in Wurster Park. The event runs from 5-7pm. Many of the local businesses downtown hand out candy as well.
Cranes, Colors and Cabernet Festival
Sponsored by The Big 400, various events will be hosted such as the return of The Greater Sandhill Crane! Many activities will be going on celebrating the preserves and sanctuaries located near Manchester. Read more here.
The 2017 Christmas Tree Sale - November 26th
Time for the annual Christmas Tree Sale event starting on Sunday November 26th. Trees will be available for sale starting at Noon until they are all gone. Trees can be purchased at Chi Bro park near downtown.
Christmas in the Village - December 2 2017
Come check out the Christmas in the Village to visit with Santa and take part in many of the fun-filled events that take place each year. Santa will be available to listen to Christmas lists from children and pose for photos. On Saturday, December 2nd 2017, we will have a variety of craft shows and other special events happening around town in conjunction with the Manchester home tour. Christmas Home Tour - December 2nd, 2017
This year’s Manchester Christmas Home Tour will take place on December 2nd from noon until 8:00PM. There will be five beautiful historical venues this year which can be toured in any order during those hours. All proceeds from the tour are presented to the Manchester Chamber of Commerce for the purchase of decorations for the village. For details check out the 2016 Home Tour brochure.
The Manchester Men’ Club Ice Skating Party - January 21st, 2017
For a night of fun on the ice, lace up your skates with family and friends for an ice-skating party. The event will take place on Saturday January 21, 2017.
Kiwanis Crazy Ca$h Night - March 4th 2017, starting at 5pm - Buy tickets beforehand!
A $100 ticket buys dinner for two, catered by Moveable Feast and a chance to win $6,350 in Main Board cash prizes. Tickets can be purchased at the Ash Auto (428-8568), State Farm Insurance (428-8364), and at the Manchester Community Resource Center (428-7722). In addition to the main prize, another $6,000 in cash is given away through Side Board tickets, 50/25/25 raffles and other raffles held during the evening. Past years Side Board Merchandise Prizes include three IPads, two flat screen televisions, two Xbox One gaming systems and two - $500 Cabela’s gift cards. There are also many items donated by area merchants and event supporters that are purchased through a silent auction and special prizes raffle.
